This region boasts a wide variety of recreational activities for people of all ages.

We have several 18 hole golf courses for golfing enthusiasts. Many of our communities have well-maintained parks with ball diamonds, tennis courts and shelter houses.

The county has four beautiful aquatic centers which are operational during the summer months; the Bryson Pool in Celina, Coldwater Pool located at Memorial Park, another in Ft. Recovery, and finally, one in St. Henry. The Mercer County YMCA, located on State Route 703 E, Celina, provides services for those in need of exercise or indoor aquatics.

Biking and walking trails are available; one linking the Village of Coldwater to the City of Celina while another scenic route will take you around Grand Lake St. Marys. The lake offers numerous recreational opportunities which including boating, docks, fishing, campsites, and picnic areas.

Whatever you choose to do during your leisure time, Mercer County is your place for recreation.

Mercer County communities come together countless times throughout the year to celebrate and enjoy the camaraderie of their neighbors. You can find activities just about every weekend of the summer and beyond. Whether it is a church festival, a community picnic, or the Mercer County Fair in August; you can find a family-friendly form of entertainment.
